Peer Education Program
After a weekend training, high school students have the opportunity to join this year-long program that empowers teens (ages 15 to 19) to become a positive influence on their school campuses, and in their communities. Peer Educators grow as leaders in the ongoing efforts to prevent unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections, as well as learn about healthy relationships, teen violence, body image, sexuality, LGBTQ issues, reproductive health, and more! Peer Educators perform service projects on campus and in the community and other local activities. Peers also get incentives when joining the program; such as community service hours among other prizes!
