Meet the Team


Amy S.
graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Cinema and Human Sexuality Studies and has more 10 years of experience teaching comprehensive sex education. She enjoys outdoor activities and once rode her bicycle from San Francisco to Los Angeles for an AIDS Lifecycle fundraising event. It took 7 days!

Andrew P. has a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and 6 years of experience educating youth. He loves Thai food and enjoys tinkering with his car in his free time.

Evelyn G., Ph.D., M.P.H. (aka Dr. E) has worked in public health for over a decade at organizations like the University of California, Los Angeles; AIDS Project Los Angeles; and Planned Parenthood, building linkages in sexual health, family planning, HIV prevention, and economic development for young women. She is committed to serving diverse, multicultural and multiethnic populations in regards to sexual health education, access, and informed policy. She has a special interest in gender issues.

Takeysha K.  also known as Ms. TK was a teen mother who beat the odds and graduated with honors from high school.  She went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from California State University, San Bernardino.  Currently she is the process of obtaining her Masters in Nursing.    She has over five years experience as a certified health educator providing teens with education to help them make better reproductive health decisions.  She enjoys dancing and writing poetry. Her favorite message that she passes on to the teens she educates is: we are not a product of our circumstances yet we are a product of our thoughts, so dream big and dream often.

Nicolle G.  has been a Sexuality and Reproductive Health Program Specialist for the past 5 years. She finds it important to educate others, so they can make responsible choices where they can also pass that valuable information along to others. When not busy educating and taking care of her toddler, she enjoys scrapbooking.

Mrs. D She has been a certified health educator for over 5 years and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at California State University of Fullerton. As much as she enjoys answering questions about pregnancy, STDs, periods and sex, etc  she just as much enjoys cooking for family and friends and going out dancing.

Meghan Has a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and a Master of Science in Counseling. She became certified as a reproductive health educator through the California Family Health Council (CFHC) in 2003. Meghan started working for Planned Parenthood more than 9 years ago as a peer educator. Since that time, she gained experience providing education in colleges, high schools, community agencies, Planned Parenthood health centers, and on Planned Parenthood’s hotline programs. She enjoys listening to country music and traveling.
